The Ghana Police service were sent on a wild goose chase today after the alleged admission of Ghanaian musician Castro, aka Theophilus Tagoe at a hospital in Togo.
The musician, who was vacating with Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan and friends, has been missing since 6th July 2014 whilst spending time at the Peace Holiday Resort, Ada, Ghana.
MyJoyOnline.com intercepted a police wireless message which directed the Aflao Police Commander to follow up information of his admission for verification.
It was later found that this information was false.
Police also confirmed with MyJoyOnline.com that there was no such hospital located in Togo.
This isn’t the first time that it has been rumoured the Abongo Lorry singer may be in Togo, as another rumour suggested Castro’s disappearance may be due to spiritual intervention.
The Marine Division of the Ghana Police service intensified search operations this Monday, but alas, Castro and Janet Bandu, who was believed to be on the jetski with Castro still remain lost.
The question on everyone’s lips is, where is Castro? We cannot afford to lose another legend after the death of Buk Bak singer Ronnie Coaches earlier this year.
We pray that you are found alive Castro.
